Medical translation for patients, healthcare providers and insurers
Healthcare documents cross borders all the time: treatment abroad, a second opinion from a foreign specialist, an international insurance claim, a residency or study application, a clinical trial with sites in several countries. Our medical document translation covers each of these cases. When you order, tell us where the document will be submitted, and we deliver the translation in the format that destination asks for, including a signed statement of accuracy when it is required. To understand why medical terminology needs a specialist, read our article on professional medical terminology translation.
Medical documents we translate
- Medical records, lab and imaging reports, prescriptions and discharge summaries: Medical records translation.
- Vaccination records and immunization certificates: Vaccination record translation.
- Death certificates for insurance, estates and repatriation: Death certificate translation.
- Clinical study documents, informed consent forms, package inserts, patient leaflets and hospital forms.
Accuracy and confidentiality in every medical translation
A wrong dosage or a misread abbreviation can change a diagnosis. In our medical translation services, the translator keeps terms, abbreviations, units and dosages exactly as the physician wrote them, reads handwritten notes with care and marks anything illegible as illegible, never guessing. A second translator reviews the work before delivery. Medical files carry sensitive information, so they are handled confidentially, kept for 60 days, and for companies we sign an NDA on request. You receive the translation by email as a PDF, a printed copy by mail if you ask for one, and revisions are free for 30 days after delivery.

Help Center
Turnaround, price, accepted documents and how to order: the most common questions are already answered in the Help Center, organized by topic.
How is the translation done? How many people work on it?
Our translation is human and split into 4 or 5 steps, so every translation meets the same standard. A different person contributes at each step.
Do you translate handwritten documents?
Yes, we accept and translate them normally. But you are responsible for checking that the office receiving it accepts a handwritten document.
Do you translate stamps, seals and parts that are hard to read?
Yes. Stamps and seals are translated too. A part that cannot be read is marked as illegible: we do not make up text for what is not legible.
Do you share my data with third parties?
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your documents are handled confidentially, only by the team working on your order, and are deleted from our system 60 days after delivery.
Is a photo from my phone good enough?
Yes, as long as the whole document is legible. Take it on a flat surface, in good light, with all four corners visible and no glare or blur. If any part is unreadable, we ask for a new photo before quoting.
