Roxo Translations offers Spanish translation services for documents from Spain, Mexico and the rest of Latin America, to and from English, Portuguese and other languages. Every translation is done by a human translator, native in the target language, and reviewed by a second one.
Send a photo or scan of the document, see the price and the deadline instantly, and receive the translation as a PDF. For the United States it comes certified and accepted by USCIS; for Brazil it can be a sworn translation into Portuguese, valid nationwide.
Spanish is the official language of 20 countries: Spain, Mexico, six countries of Central America, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, nine countries of South America and Equatorial Guinea. It is also spoken in Puerto Rico and is the second most spoken language in the United States. A Spanish document can be needed almost anywhere, and the destination decides the type of translation.

Spanish is one language, but the Spanish of Spain and the Spanish of Latin America differ in vocabulary, forms of address and the way documents are written, and each country has its own expressions. A good translation follows the variant of the country where the document will be used.
Spanish grew out of the Latin spoken in Castile, in the north of the Iberian Peninsula, which is why it is also called Castilian. Some of its oldest written traces are the Glosas Emilianenses, notes in the margins of a Latin manuscript from around the 10th or 11th century.
In the 13th century, King Alfonso X made Castilian the language of royal documents and of science. In 1492, Antonio de Nebrija published the first grammar of the language, and in the same year Columbus reached the Americas, where Spanish spread across a continent. In 1605, Miguel de Cervantes published the first part of Don Quixote, the most famous novel in the language.
Today Spanish has nearly 500 million native speakers, more than any other language except Mandarin Chinese, and most of them live in Mexico. The Royal Spanish Academy, founded in 1713, works with 22 other academies of the language to keep a common standard.

Yes. Spanish and Portuguese are among our core languages, in both directions. We translate US documents such as birth certificates, diplomas and records into Spanish or Portuguese as a certified translation, or as a sworn translation when it will be used in Brazil.
Often yes, depending on the pair and the service. For certified translation we confirm translator availability. For sworn translation into Portuguese, some pairs require a two-step route through English. We tell you the option before quoting.
By people. Every document is translated by a professional linguist and goes through double human review for accuracy, grammar, formatting and consistency before delivery.
It depends on the language pair, because a sworn translation requires a public translator registered for that language. For pairs without one, we can offer a two-step route: certified translation into English, then sworn translation from English into Portuguese. We confirm before quoting.
Our core languages are Portuguese, Spanish, English, Italian and French, and we work with many more, from Arabic and Chinese to German, Japanese and Russian. Tell us the language pair and we confirm availability before quoting.
