Roxo Translations offers English translation services for documents that need to be translated into English or from English, between English and more than 40 languages, including Portuguese, Spanish, French and Chinese. We translate documents for and from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ireland and other English-speaking countries. Every translation is done by a human translator, native in the target language, and reviewed by a second one.
Send a photo or scan of the document, see the price and the deadline instantly, and receive the translation as a PDF. For the United States it comes certified and accepted by USCIS; for Brazil it can be a sworn translation into Portuguese, valid nationwide.
English is an official or main language in more than 50 countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand, as well as India, Nigeria, South Africa, the Philippines and many others in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and the Pacific. It has more than 1 billion speakers, counting those who learned it as a second language, and is an official language of the United Nations and of the European Union. A document in English can be needed almost anywhere, and a document in another language often has to be translated into English, so the destination decides the type of translation.
| Where | What you need |
|---|---|

| Consulates, embassies and citizenship processes | The translation into the language the authority asks for, with the apostille on the original when it is required |

English is one language, but the English of the United States, of the United Kingdom and Ireland, of Canada and of Australia differ in spelling, in vocabulary, in the way dates are written and in the documents each country issues. A good translation follows the variant of the country where the document will be used.
English grew out of the Germanic dialects brought to Britain in the 5th century by the Angles, the Saxons and the Jutes, and the Angles gave England and its language their name. Old English, the language of the poem Beowulf, also took words from Latin and from the Norse spoken by the Vikings.
In 1066, the Norman Conquest brought French to the English court, and thousands of French words entered the language, which became the Middle English of Geoffrey Chaucer. William Caxton printed the first books in England in the 1470s, and the plays of Shakespeare and the King James Bible of 1611 shaped modern English. In 1755, Samuel Johnson published his dictionary in London, and in 1828 Noah Webster published his American dictionary, which gave the United States spellings such as color and center.
Explorers, colonists and trade took English to North America, Australia, India, Africa and the Pacific. Today it has more than 1 billion speakers on every continent, and it is one of the official languages of the United Nations and the international language of aviation.

Yes. Yes, when a Brazilian agency or another country requires it. If the document is for a US agency such as USCIS, what you need is a certified translation, the format those agencies ask for. Tell us where you will submit it and we confirm before quoting.
A certified translation is a complete translation signed by a qualified professional, with a statement attesting that it is accurate and complete. In the United States it is the format required by USCIS, courts, universities and most official institutions.
By people. Every document is translated by a professional linguist and goes through double human review for accuracy, grammar, formatting and consistency before delivery.
Birth, marriage and death certificates, divorce decrees, diplomas and transcripts, driver's licenses, passports and IDs, criminal records, bank and financial statements, medical and vaccination records, contracts, affidavits and court documents, among others. Send a photo and we confirm.
The translation reproduces names exactly as they appear in the original document. If we made a typo, we fix it at no cost. If the original itself has a different spelling, tell us before we start and we will guide you on how to handle it.
