Certified Translation
Certified translations accepted in the USA. Perfect for immigration, schools, and official processes. Fast delivery.
Criminal record translation: we translate police certificates, police clearance certificates and criminal background checks into English or another language, with the issuing authority, seals and validity dates, plus the translator's signed certificate of accuracy and notarization included.
The National Visa Center asks immigrant visa applicants for police certificates from the countries where they lived, and USCIS may ask for court and police records in adjustment and naturalization cases. Canada's IRCC also asks for police certificates in permanent residence and citizenship applications, with a translation for IRCC when they are not in English or French.
Which countries and which records you need is decided by the agency, so check its instructions before ordering.
Many police certificates are valid for only 90 days or six months, so the translation cannot wait. Choose the fast or express deadline at checkout and the translation keeps every date, number and seal exactly as on the original.
Every translation follows the USCIS-accepted format, with the translator's signed certificate of accuracy and a Notary Public seal valid in all 50 states, at no extra cost. Revisions are free within 60 days of delivery.
Upload a clear photo or scan of the document, see the price and the deadline right away and pay online. You receive the translation by email as a PDF, and a printed copy by mail if you ask for one. Need other documents too? See our passport translation.

No. FBI records are federal documents, apostilled only by the US Department of State, and we do not handle federal documents. Once the apostille is done, we can translate the record and the apostille as a certified or sworn translation.
For each document that is not in English or French, IRCC asks for the translation, an affidavit from the translator and a certified copy of the original. The affidavit is not needed when the translator is a member in good standing of a professional translation association, in Canada or abroad. IRCC does not approve or list translation companies.
Yes. USCIS accepts certified translations, and ours include the signed certificate of accuracy and US notarization. Every foreign-language document you file must come with a full English translation. Final acceptance of any application is always decided by USCIS.
