When a resume needs a translation
A resume in your language often has to be read by someone who does not speak it: an employer abroad filling a job, an exchange program, a university reviewing an application, or a work visa process. It also works the other way, when you come back home after working in another country and apply for a job there.
Which documents the application asks for, and in which language, is decided by the employer, the school or the institution that receives them. Whether you get the job or the place is up to them as well: our part is a faithful translation.
We translate what you wrote, as you wrote it
A translation is not a rewrite. We do not rewrite, shorten or "improve" your resume: we translate what is on the page. Each job title gets the equivalent term in the other language, the names of companies and schools stay as in the original, and your education, dates and contact details follow what you wrote.

Is the translation done by people or by machine?
By people. Every document is translated by a professional linguist and goes through double human review for accuracy, grammar, formatting and consistency before delivery.
Can I leave instructions for the translator?
Yes. If there is something specific, such as how a name should be spelled, write it with your order.
A name is spelled differently from my passport. Can you change it?
The translation reproduces names exactly as they appear in the original document. If we made a typo, we fix it at no cost. If the original itself has a different spelling, tell us before we start and we will guide you on how to handle it.
Can you send my translation to another email, such as my attorney or university?
Yes, as long as you authorize it. Tell us the email address, or addresses, in the same conversation, and we send the translation to the addresses you authorize.
Is my data safe? How long do you keep my files?
We follow data protection laws, such as the LGPD (Brazil) and the CCPA (California), and your documents are handled confidentially, only by the team working on your order. All files uploaded to our system are automatically deleted 60 days after delivery, so download your translation and keep it in a safe place.
