When an email needs a translation
An email is often the written record of a deal, a promise or a notice. People translate emails to use them as evidence in a lawsuit or a divorce, to show a relationship or a job offer in an immigration process, and to document a payment, a debt or a complaint. Companies translate their correspondence with clients, suppliers, banks and schools when the other side, or someone reviewing the case, reads another language.
Which emails to submit, and whether they are accepted as evidence, is decided by your attorney or by the institution that receives them. For companies, correspondence is handled confidentially, and we sign an NDA on request.
Header, thread and attachments
The header of each message is translated with the sender, the recipients, the date and the subject, and email addresses appear as they are. In a thread, every reply keeps its place, so the reader can follow who wrote what and when. The signature, the footer and any quoted text are translated too.
Attachments are translated when you send them, each one as its own document. If an attachment matters, send the file as well: an attachment you do not send appears only by its file name, as in the email.

Names, dates, numbers and addresses appear exactly as in the original, anything illegible is marked as illegible, and the layout follows the original message. Is the translation done by people or by machine?
By people. Every document is translated by a professional linguist and goes through double human review for accuracy, grammar, formatting and consistency before delivery.
How do I send my documents?
By WhatsApp, by email, through the upload on the website, or by sharing a folder with us. We accept PDF, JPG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, DOCX, DOC, ODT, XLSX, PPT and HTML files; a legible phone photo is enough. Send all pages, front and back.
My document is partly in English. Do you translate all of it?
We translate every part that is not in the target language, including stamps, seals and handwritten notes, and keep the rest as it appears in the original. Tell us when you send it, so the quote reflects only what needs translation.
Is my data safe? How long do you keep my files?
We follow data protection laws, such as the LGPD (Brazil) and the CCPA (California), and your documents are handled confidentially, only by the team working on your order. All files uploaded to our system are automatically deleted 60 days after delivery, so download your translation and keep it in a safe place.
Do you translate business documents?
Yes, in a professional tone suited to the target market. Native human translators do the work, with a glossary per client and review by a second translator, and we sign an NDA when a company asks.
