Translation services in Cork for official use: we translate your documents into English, or from English into more than 30 languages, and certify each one for Irish immigration, the courts, universities, banks and the civil registration office. Everything is done online, and the translation arrives by email.
Cork is in County Cork, in Munster. When a document is not in English or Irish, these are the offices that most often ask for a certified translation:
Cork is Ireland’s second city, with about 222,000 people in the city and suburbs in the 2022 census. Its largest foreign communities are Polish, Indian and British, and students and workers from Brazil and Spanish-speaking countries come for its university and its English schools.
For an Irish document going to Brazil, such as an Irish birth or marriage certificate to be registered at a Brazilian registry office, the translation must be the Brazilian sworn translation (tradução juramentada), done by a sworn translator in Brazil. We provide that too.
More than 2.5 million emigrants left Ireland through Cobh, in Cork Harbour, between 1848 and 1950. Today the movement runs the other way, and Cork receives newcomers with documents from all over the world.
County Cork has its own Gaeltacht, Múscraí, around Baile Bhuirne and Cúil Aodha, where Irish is spoken every day, a reminder that English is not the only official language a Cork document can be in.
We do not have an office in Cork, and you do not need to go anywhere: you upload your documents, see the price and the delivery date in the instant quote, and receive the certified translation by email as a PDF. Find out who signs the translation, see the other translation services in Ireland and the prices on our pricing page.

Yes. We translate your documents into English and certify each translation with a signed statement of accuracy, the date and the translator’s name and contact details, which is what Irish immigration and the Irish embassies ask for. The translation can be done outside Ireland for applications made in Ireland. For a visa applied for from outside Ireland, a translation made outside the EEA also needs an apostille from the country where it was made.
For each document that is not in English or Irish, Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) and the Irish embassies ask for a full translation with a statement from the translator that it is accurate, the date, and the translator’s full name, signature and contact details. Translations made by the applicant are not accepted. For citizenship, the translation is uploaded with a copy of the original document. For a visa applied for from outside Ireland, a translation made outside the EEA must also be apostilled in the country where it was made.
No. Irish immigration does not accept translations made by the applicant, and a translation made by a relative is not a good idea either: it has to come from a professional translator, who signs the statement of accuracy with their name and contact details.
By people. Every document is translated by a professional linguist and goes through double human review for accuracy, grammar, formatting and consistency before delivery.
You receive a non-editable PDF by email, with the certification, signatures and digital seals. You can print it freely. If you cannot open the file, we resend it on WhatsApp.
