No. For security, we only certify and notarize translations done by our own team. We can translate the original document for you, with certification and notarization included.

Notarizing your own signature on a document that is not a translation is handled case by case, usually as a step before an apostille through our sister service Roxo Apostille. In Brazil, signature recognition (reconhecimento de firma) is done only at a cartório.

Reply to the email you received with the translation and point out the error. Revisions after delivery are unlimited and free: we fix it and resend the translation to the email on file.

Yes, within 2 hours after payment is confirmed, as long as work has not started. Once the translator has begun, there are no refunds. After delivery, instead of a refund, you are entitled to free revisions.

Yes. If the same document was paid for twice, we refund the duplicate payment. Send us both receipts on WhatsApp or by email and our team takes care of it.

The translation reproduces names exactly as they appear in the original document. If we made a typo, we fix it at no cost. If the original itself has a different spelling, tell us before we start and we will guide you on how to handle it.

Send us the written notice or the request you received. If the issue is in the translation, we correct it at no cost. Final acceptance is always decided by the receiving agency, which is why we ask where you will submit it before we start.

No. We reproduce the structure of the original document as faithfully as possible, following professional standards. Custom layouts or client templates are not part of the standard service and, when feasible, may be quoted separately. See examples in our portfolio.

No. A certified or sworn translation must be complete and faithful to the original, so we do not omit, summarize or alter content. That is what gives it official validity.

Your documents are handled confidentially, only by the team working on your order. All files uploaded to our system are automatically deleted after 60 days, so download your translation and keep it in a safe place.

Yes. Roxo Translations is a member of the American Translators Association (ATA), member number 273295, which you can verify in the official ATA directory. Our sworn translators in Brazil are ABRATES members and sign with ICP-Brasil certificates, and our team includes Notaries Public.
