Translation services in Saskatoon for official use: we translate your documents into English or French, or into more than 30 other languages, with the translator’s affidavit sworn before a notary public, the format IRCC accepts for immigration and citizenship. Everything is done online, and the translation arrives by email.
Saskatoon is the largest city in Saskatchewan. When a document is not in English or French, these are the offices that most often ask for a translation:
For IRCC, a translation by a translator who is not certified in Canada is accepted when it comes with the translator’s affidavit, sworn before a notary public outside Canada, and a certified copy of the original. That is our IRCC translation.
Saskatchewan has two rules of its own. For the marriage licence, sold by designated issuers such as jewellery stores and town offices, all divorce documents must be translated into English by an independent translator, with the translator’s name, full address and telephone number. For a foreign driver’s licence not in English or French, SGI asks for an official translation from the Open Door Society or a professional entity. The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) accepts a translator certified in Canada or, if the translator is not certified, the translator’s affidavit with a certified copy of the original.
Check with SGI, or with the office that will receive your document, whether they will accept our translation before you order: some offices may ask for a translator certified in Saskatchewan, and Roxo is not a member of ATIS.
Saskatoon had 266,141 people in the 2021 census. In the metropolitan area, 18.0% were immigrants, and 17,515 recent immigrants arrived between 2016 and 2021. Tagalog is the most common mother tongue after English, with 7,880 people, ahead of Mandarin (5,110) and German (4,225). Brazil has an honorary consul and an honorary vice-consul in Corman Park, the rural municipality around Saskatoon.
For a Canadian document going to Brazil, such as a birth or marriage certificate to be registered at a Brazilian registry office, the translation must be the Brazilian sworn translation (tradução juramentada), done by a sworn translator in Brazil. We provide that too.
In the Saskatoon area, more than twice as many people have Tagalog as their mother tongue (7,880) as French (3,575), one of Canada’s two official languages, according to the 2021 census.
Saskatoon began with a grant of land in 1882 to the Temperance Colonization Society of Toronto, and its first settlers arrived in 1883. Today it is home to the Canadian Light Source, a national research facility of the University of Saskatchewan.

Yes. We translate your documents into English with a certificate of accuracy and the translator’s affidavit, sworn before a Florida notary public, the format Canada accepts for translations done outside the country. The deadline is the same as our certified translation in the United States.
For each document that is not in English or French, IRCC asks for the translation, an affidavit from the translator and a certified copy of the original. The affidavit is not needed when the translator is a member in good standing of a professional translation association, in Canada or abroad. IRCC does not approve or list translation companies.
Yes. The rule accepts a translator who is a member of a professional association in Canada or abroad, or a translation with the translator’s affidavit sworn before a notary public outside Canada. That is the Roxo format: the affidavit is sworn before a Florida notary public.
IRCC asks for an affidavit from the translator, sworn before someone authorized to take oaths; outside Canada, that is a notary public. Our translations for Canada include the translator’s affidavit, sworn before a Florida notary public, at no extra cost.
