Everything is done online, and the translation arrives by email.
Regina is the capital of Saskatchewan. When a document is not in English or French, these are the offices that most often ask for a translation:
For IRCC, a translation by a translator who is not certified in Canada is accepted when it comes with the translator’s affidavit, sworn before a notary public outside Canada, and a certified copy of the original. That is our IRCC translation.
Saskatchewan has two rules of its own. For the marriage licence, sold by designated issuers such as jewellery stores and town offices, all divorce documents must be translated into English by an independent translator, with the translator’s name, full address and telephone number. For a foreign driver’s licence not in English or French, SGI asks for an official translation from the Open Door Society or a professional entity. The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) accepts a translator certified in Canada or, if the translator is not certified, the translator’s affidavit with a certified copy of the original.
Check with SGI, or with the office that will receive your document, whether they will accept our translation before you order: some offices may ask for a translator certified in Saskatchewan, and Roxo is not a member of ATIS.
The Regina metropolitan area had 249,217 people in the 2021 census, and 18.8% of them were immigrants; 6.1% of the population had arrived between 2016 and 2021 (14,980 people). Tagalog is the language other than English and French most spoken at home in the region. The Philippines has an honorary consul general in Regina; Brazil’s honorary consuls in Saskatchewan are near Saskatoon.
For a Canadian document going to Brazil, such as a birth or marriage certificate to be registered at a Brazilian registry office, the translation must be the Brazilian sworn translation (tradução juramentada), done by a sworn translator in Brazil. We provide that too.
Regina was founded in 1882 and became the capital of the North-West Territories in 1883, more than twenty years before the province of Saskatchewan was created, so the oldest records of the region were kept by the territorial government.
The North-West Mounted Police chose Regina for its headquarters in 1882 and began training recruits there three years later. Its training academy, Depot Division, is still in the city.
We do not have an office in Regina, and you do not need to go anywhere: you upload your documents, see the price and the delivery date in the instant quote, and receive the certified translation by email as a PDF. Yes. We translate your documents into English with a certificate of accuracy and the translator’s affidavit, sworn before a Florida notary public, the format Canada accepts for translations done outside the country. The deadline is the same as our certified translation in the United States.
For each document that is not in English or French, IRCC asks for the translation, an affidavit from the translator and a certified copy of the original. The affidavit is not needed when the translator is a member in good standing of a professional translation association, in Canada or abroad. IRCC does not approve or list translation companies.
Yes. The rule accepts a translator who is a member of a professional association in Canada or abroad, or a translation with the translator’s affidavit sworn before a notary public outside Canada. That is the Roxo format: the affidavit is sworn before a Florida notary public.
IRCC asks for an affidavit from the translator, sworn before someone authorized to take oaths; outside Canada, that is a notary public. Our translations for Canada include the translator’s affidavit, sworn before a Florida notary public, at no extra cost.
